Effective Date: February 4, 2026 · Last updated: October 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes the policies of Orra Audio LLC, California, United States of America, email: contact@orraaudio.com, on the collection, use and disclosure of your information that we collect when you use our website (www.orraaudio.com) (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you are consenting to the collection, use and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not consent to the same, please do not access or use the Service.

Using Orra Visualizer, our desktop app? How the app handles your camera, microphone, face and hand tracking, and licence activation is covered in section 10. Have an Orra account on our website? What we store for it is covered in section 11, and the Community Spotlight form is covered in section 12.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the “Last Updated” date above. If we make significant changes, we will also let you know, for example by email or with a notice on our website. Changes take effect when they are posted.

1. Information We Collect

We will collect and process the following personal information about you:

  • •Name
  • •Email
  • •Payment Info
  • •Purchase details: products you buy or download, order dates and amounts, discount codes used, the affiliate who referred you (if any) and your country. We use these to support you and to send offers that fit what you already use.

To count how many people are on our website at once, each visit makes up a random visit ID that is kept only in the page's memory (no cookie or browser storage). About once a minute while the page is open, it tells us that ID, the page you're on, the time, and where the visit came from (the campaign tag in the link or the website that sent you, if any). We don't store your IP address or anything else that identifies you with it, and we delete these records after 2 days.

2. How We Use Your Information

We will use the information that we collect about you for the following purposes:

  • •Marketing / Promotional
  • •Processing payment
  • •Support
  • •Targeted advertising

If we want to use your information for any other purpose, we will ask you for consent and will use your information only on receiving your consent and then, only for the purpose(s) for which you grant consent unless we are required to do otherwise by law.

3. How We Share Your Information

We will not transfer your personal information to any third party without seeking your consent, except in limited circumstances as described below:

  • •Ad service
  • •Analytics
  • •Payment recovery services
  • •Service providers that host and operate our website, accounts and emails (see section 11)

We require such third parties to use the personal information we transfer to them only for the purpose for which it was transferred and not to retain it for longer than is required for fulfilling the said purpose.

We may also disclose your personal information for the following: (1) to comply with applicable law, regulation, court order or other legal process; (2) to enforce your agreements with us, including this Privacy Policy; or (3) to respond to claims that your use of the Service violates any third-party rights. If the Service or our company is merged or acquired with another company, your information will be one of the assets that is transferred to the new owner.

4. Retention of Your Information

We will retain your personal information with us for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, or for as long as we need it to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected as detailed in this Privacy Policy. We may need to retain certain information for longer periods such as record-keeping / reporting in accordance with applicable law or for other legitimate reasons like enforcement of legal rights, fraud prevention, etc. Residual anonymous information and aggregate information, neither of which identifies you (directly or indirectly), may be stored indefinitely.

5. Your Rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may have a right to access and rectify or erase your personal data or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to the active processing of your data, ask us to share (port) your personal information to another entity, withdraw any consent you provided to us to process your data, a right to lodge a complaint with a statutory authority and such other rights as may be relevant under applicable laws. To exercise these rights, you can write to us at contact@orraaudio.com. We will respond to your request in accordance with applicable law.

You may opt-out of direct marketing communications or the profiling we carry out for marketing purposes by writing to us at contact@orraaudio.com.

Do note that if you do not allow us to collect or process the required personal information or withdraw the consent to process the same for the required purposes, you may not be able to access or use the services for which your information was sought.

6. Cookies

To learn more about how we use cookies and your choices in relation to these tracking technologies, please refer to our Cookie Policy.

7. Security

The security of your information is important to us and we will use reasonable security measures to prevent the loss, misuse or unauthorized alteration of your information under our control. However, given the inherent risks, we cannot guarantee absolute security and consequently, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk.

8. Third Party Links & Use of Your Information

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. This Privacy Policy does not address the privacy policy and other practices of any third parties, including any third party operating any website or service that may be accessible via a link on the Service. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

9. Grievance / Data Protection Officer

If you have any queries or concerns about the processing of your information that is available with us, you may email our Grievance Officer at Orra Audio LLC, contact@orraaudio.com. We will address your concerns in accordance with applicable law.

10. Orra Visualizer (Desktop App)

This section explains what the Orra Visualizer desktop application does with your data. The same notice is shown in the installer and installed with the app as PRIVACY.txt.

The short version

Orra Visualizer does not collect analytics and does not track how you use it. It never sends your camera, microphone, face or hand data to us or to anyone else. The app only connects to the internet to activate and check your licence, and when you choose to connect a streaming account or go live.

Camera, microphone, face and hand tracking

  • •Camera and microphone input is processed on your computer, in real time, to drive the visuals.
  • •Face tracking, hand tracking and background removal run locally, in the Orra Tracking Engine installed with the app. The engine does not connect to the internet.
  • •Tracking results (points on your face and hands, and background masks) exist only in memory while the app is running. They are not saved, and they are not sent to us or to anyone else.
  • •We do not create, collect or store face templates, faceprints or any other biometric identifiers.
  • •Camera or microphone content leaves your computer only if you choose to: a recording is saved on your computer, and a live stream is sent to the streaming service you connected.

Licence activation

To activate your licence and check it from time to time, the app sends your licence key and an anonymous machine ID to our licensing provider, Lemon Squeezy. The machine ID is a scrambled code calculated from your computer's name and processor details. It identifies an activation, not you, and your computer's name cannot be read from it.

Purchases, billing and payment details are handled by Lemon Squeezy under its own privacy policy. The app never sees your payment information.

Streaming accounts (optional)

If you connect Twitch (or YouTube, on macOS), you sign in on that service's own page in your web browser. The app keeps the access token it receives in your operating system's secure credential store (Windows Credential Manager or the macOS Keychain) and uses it only to talk to that service and to stream when you go live. Disconnecting the account removes the token. Your use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies.

Files on your computer

Projects, presets, plugins, recordings, settings, logs and crash or hang reports are stored on your computer. Nothing is uploaded automatically. If you contact support, you may choose to send us a log or report, and we use it only to help with your problem.

Plugins and links

Plugins, including ones made by other people, run inside the app on your computer. Only install plugins from sources you trust. Links in the app to our website or social pages open in your web browser, where those sites' own policies apply.

11. Orra Accounts

You can create an optional account on our website to see your products, license keys and downloads in one place. Here is what that involves.

Who can have an account

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account (13 in the United States). We don't knowingly collect information from children under these ages. If you believe a child has made an account, contact us at contact@orraaudio.com and we will delete it.

Order records we keep for all customers

When you buy or download a product through Lemon Squeezy, we keep a copy of the order record in our own database, whether or not you have an account. This lets your purchases appear as soon as you make an account, and helps us answer support requests. The copy includes the order details listed below and is kept for as long as we need it for support, record keeping and legal reasons.

What we store

  • •Your email address and password. Your password is stored in encrypted (hashed) form by our account provider, and we can never see it.
  • •Your name as entered at checkout, and your order details (products, variants, prices paid, order numbers and dates), license keys, activation counts and subscription status from Lemon Squeezy, matched to your account by email address. Payment details stay with Lemon Squeezy and are never stored by us.
  • •Any discount code issued to you (such as a welcome code or a personal deal we send you), and whether it has been used.
  • •Your email preference (whether you chose to join our email list).
  • •If you connect Discord, your Discord user ID and username, so we can add you to our server and manage your community role.
  • •Your notifications: which ones you've seen or cleared in the notification bell on our website.
  • •If you turn on desktop alerts, the push address and keys your browser creates for that device, so we can send you alerts. You can turn alerts off anytime in the notification bell or in your browser settings.
  • •While you're signed in and have our website open, when you were last on the site and which page you were on. We keep one record per account that is replaced about once a minute, so we can see how many customers are on the site right now. It isn't used for advertising and is deleted with your account.
  • •Basic security records kept by our account provider, such as when you signed in, your IP address and browser type, used to protect your account and prevent abuse. When you use “Forgot password,” we check whether an account exists for that email so we can tell you if you need to create one, and keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address to limit repeated checks. We never store the IP address itself for this.

When you open “Manage activations,” we show the device names your plugins registered with Lemon Squeezy. We fetch these when you look and don't store them.

Why we use it

  • •To run your account: show your products, keys and downloads, send account emails, and let you manage activations. We need this information to provide the account you asked for.
  • •To keep accounts safe: bot checks, sign-in security and preventing discount abuse. This is in our legitimate interest in running a secure service.
  • •To send newsletters and marketing emails, only if you opt in or are already a customer. You can withdraw this anytime by unsubscribing.
  • •To show you notifications in your account's notification bell (new releases, updates, sales and personal deals) and, only if you turn them on, as desktop alerts. You can clear notifications, mute the sound or turn desktop alerts off anytime.
  • •To understand how our site is used, such as how many signed-in customers are on it at once. This is in our legitimate interest in running and improving our website.

Who helps us run it

  • •Supabase hosts the account database and handles sign-in.
  • •Vercel hosts our website.
  • •Loops sends account emails (such as confirmation and password reset) and, if you opt in, our newsletters.
  • •Cloudflare Turnstile checks that sign-ups and sign-ins come from real people, not bots.
  • •Lemon Squeezy is the source of your order, license and activation information.
  • •Discord, only if you choose to connect it.
  • •Your browser's push service (for example Google for Chrome, Microsoft for Edge, Mozilla for Firefox or Apple for Safari) delivers desktop alerts, only if you turn them on. Alerts contain the notification's title, message and link.

These providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. If you are outside the US, your information is transferred there, and we rely on our providers' standard safeguards for these transfers.

Cookies

Accounts use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, and a short-lived cookie while you connect Discord. These are not used for advertising or tracking and can't be turned off, because sign-in doesn't work without them. The notification bell also saves your sound setting and which notifications have already chimed in your browser's local storage. That stays on your device and isn't used for tracking. See our Cookie Policy for more.

Marketing emails

Creating an account does not sign you up for marketing emails. We only send newsletters, product updates and marketing emails to account holders who choose to join our email list, or who are already customers, and you can unsubscribe anytime from any email.

Linking purchases made with another email

If you ask us to, we can link purchases made with a different email address to your account. We keep a record of when this was done and why.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of the information connected to your account, or ask us to correct it, by emailing contact@orraaudio.com.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account anytime from your account page, or email contact@orraaudio.com from the address you signed up with and we will do it for you. Deleting removes your account, your password and any Discord connection, and turns off desktop alerts on all your devices. We keep a minimal record of any discount code issued to your email so it can't be issued twice, and the order records described above. Your email list subscription is separate, so unsubscribe from any email if you also want to stop hearing from us.

12. Community Spotlight

Our Community Spotlight form lets you share your story so we can feature you. Filling it out is optional.

What we collect

  • •Your name, email address and country.
  • •Your answers to the interview questions, and any links to your music or profiles you share.
  • •Up to two photos you upload (for example, one of you and one of your studio).
  • •Your consent choices: whether we may feature you, use your name and photos, and your confirmation that you have the rights to the photos.
  • •Your browser language and browser type, to help us read and reply to your submission.
  • •A scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, used only to limit repeat submissions and spam. We never store the IP address itself.

How we use it

We use your submission to prepare a feature about you, such as an interview on our website, in our newsletter or on our social channels, and, if you agreed, to quote you as a testimonial. We only publish your name, words and photos in the ways you gave consent for, and we may edit answers for length and clarity. We also send you an email confirming we received your submission.

Who sees it

Submissions are stored with Supabase, and photos are kept in private storage that is not publicly accessible. When a submission arrives, our team is notified by email (through Google) and in a private staff channel on Discord. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that submissions come from real people.

Keeping and removing it

We keep submissions for as long as we may use them for a feature, or until you ask us to remove them. You can withdraw your consent anytime by emailing contact@orraaudio.com. We will stop using your submission for new features and delete it, although content that has already been published may take some time to take down.
